It all started in 2017
It all started in 2017 in Puerto Rico where drones were looked at as very skeptical, but very much needed for the environment we were in. Working on disaster relief for Hurricane Irma, the use of Drones became a daily practice and we realized how functional and practical they are. Trying to find where circuits go in an overgrown forest would have usually taken days to figure out on foot, where with a drone you could locate it and find the problem in a fraction of that time. With all the experience I gained, I figured, “Why can’t this be done in the US?” and that’s how Drone Ops was created.
